$20 Medical Cannabis Card Online in Mililani Town
Mililani Town residents may encounter online advertisements claiming that medical cannabis certification or a medical cannabis card is available for approximately $20. That amount does not represent the complete official expense of obtaining Hawaiʻi 329 registration.
Hawaiʻi’s state registration charge for a new one-year patient is already $38.50. In addition, the patient must receive appropriate medical certification from an eligible physician or APRN.
Initial applicants may establish the required provider-patient relationship through either an in-person appointment or telehealth. However, medical cannabis certification still requires an appropriate provider relationship and evaluation rather than merely filling out an online form.
After the patient submits the application, the medical provider certifies the qualifying condition and forwards the registration to DOH for review.
Hawaiʻi also limits the amount a medical provider may charge specifically for certification. The evaluation and issuance of a one-year medical cannabis certification may not exceed $105.
A $20 Mililani Town promotion should therefore generally be interpreted as a discounted or partial service offer rather than the full cost of receiving an official Hawaiʻi 329 registration.
